In 1972 Mr Francesco Fausto Perillo founded SVAS S.a.S. a small company trading in medical devices.
From 1974 to 1981, during a very difficult period in the Public Sector of medical care, SVAS increased the investment  and  pursued a policy of expansion implementing a strategy against the mainstream.
The change came in the middle of Eighties when Francesco Fausto decided to realize a manufacture plant, increasing  the investment. In 1984 two plant were founded: Farmex S.r.l., where dressing and incontinence aids were made; and Svas Italia S.r.l. manufacturing and trading in medical disposable and surgical equipment.
In 1985 the GALENICA SENESE  was purchased: an outstanding  company specialized in the manufacturing of  injectable solution. The following year was founded a company trading in technical furniture and assistance:Harvest.
In 1996 Farmex acquires machinery and brand of the company Vincenzo Sorrentino & Figli located in Pagani (Salerno) and after two years the factory was ready to break into G.D.O. market.

The new century opens with the re-organization of the group:

• the incorporation among Farmex, Svas Italia and Harvest in Svas Biosana;

• the founding of a new digital market place : E-medical;
