The orientation of Research and Development is market-driven. R&D activities are: the applied research for the development and introduction of new products from the initial idea and research works up to the delivery of innovative prototypes, realisation of new services and new features in existing services, fostering market awareness and familiarisation with innovative products, through cooperation with the users.
The regulatory activity is even managed by the R&D department thanks to the competence of its own teams. The experts task is to explain, deepen and apply rules, guidelines, action corporate plans, laws.

Quality and environment

R&D department has established and applies a Quality Management System through the formulation and implementation of S.G.A.I. (Integrated System for Business Administration) complying with the  UNI EN ISO 9001:2000.

Medical devices manufactured by Svas Biosana meet the 93/42 CEE Directive  concerning medical devices and the rules of UNI CEI EN 13485:2002 (special requirements of the application of the EN ISO 9001)
